I just switched from effexor xr to cymbalta and was wondering if anyone knows about this newish drug.(cymbalta) I was on paxil for 2 years but choose to go off it not because it didn't work but the fact that i could just eat and sleep so much and i gained so much weight. now nothing seems to be working the same. This cymbalta is ok so far but i feel the eating and sleeping effects coming on. Does anyone know of a pill good for panic and anxiety attacks and also OCD(obsessive,complusive disorder). I think the OCD is what triggers all the other attacks and i just would like to find something that will help me but not change me so much. If anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks!

I too ate enormous ammounts while on Cymbalta. My hubby is on Lexapro for ocd, panic attacks and depression.
