Default Which is stronger??

I was currently on Hydrocodone 5/500 and went to my doctor saying these were not helping the pain in my lower back. He said he would give me Lortab which he said was stronger. However, when the pharmacy gave the script on the label it read Hydrocodone 5/325 TA. This would tell me they are both hydrocodone, but with my new script just less APAP. Is this correct. Which then is stronger or did my doctor or pharmacist mess up? Please help.

THanks,

Jeff

Lortab is just Hydrocodone and apap. It comes in doses of 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10mg. Ask him for Oxycodone if you want a stronger drug or ask him to bump up the Hydro amount.
