Default Which is stronger?

Just out of curiosity which pain killer is stronger? Hydrocodone or Percocet? I just had some major dental work done and he put me on Hydrocodone/ibuprofin. When I hurt my back several years ago they put me on Percocet. Just wondering.

Oxycodone the active ingredient in Percocet mg for mg is roughly 3 times stronger then hydrocodone.

Thanks Cats meow for your reply. I thought the Percocet was stronger, now I know. Can definately say that the Percocet I was given years ago threw me for quite a loop. The hydrocodone seems more mellow. Of course I'm sure different peoples systems are affected in different ways.
