Default Steroids and Birth Defects

I just found out that I am pregnant, when I told my ex he told me that he has been using steroids for about 2 months and that because of that the baby will have birth defects. Everything I have looked up only indicates possible birth defects if I was the one taking the steroids.... says nothing about if he is taking them. He is taking Winstrol(stanozolol), Deca Durabolin, Arimidex(anastrozole), and Testosterone. Can anybody PLEASE tell me if what he says is true or not?

Default Suspicious

Honestly....I have never heard of anything taken on the paternal side that can effect a fetus.

Let me guess....is he in favor of terminating the pregnancy for this reason?

I think he's just trying to make excuses to avoid paternity. Go talk to an OBGyn or planned parenthood. I had a great nurse at Planned Parenthood, she answered any questions I had -- no matter how strange.

Just realized the original post is very old -- oh well.
