Default Someone compare?

Hello-my doctor has had me on oxycodone 5's for a year. I lost my last bottle in travel, like an idiot, and have to wait three days until my prescription will refill. I am having SEVERE withdrawals, and was given a Morphine 30mg extended release tablet. I have already verified this is truly what it is. My question is: I normally take about 20mg oxy every three hours. Is this morphine comparable, stronger, more or less because of the time release? I gotta stop the withdrawals, but don't want to wind up in a coma...anything would be appreciated! Thanks

Oxy is almost twice as strong as morphine, that 30mg pill will take the edge off, but not much more. CR's aren't as strong as IR's, they last longer but don't hit as hard. It should however help your w/d's a lot.

Thanks! So many convrsions, so confusing. Looks like oxy is about 1.5 to Morphine by mg, but I'm pretty darn cautious. I really appreciate the response
