 Side effects after Botulinum toxin injection
a Pt. with extensive syringomyelia and syringo bulbia, suffering from spasticity , had been injected in lower limbs and lt. upper limb, with 600 unit Botox, 1 and half month later he developed chest infection and repeated attacks of apnoea requiring mechanical ventilation , despite of improved motor power and diminshing of spasticity in his injected limbs.
the question is about the possibility of being this one of remot complication of Botox or not?? |
