It is NOT my ovaries - that has been ruled out. Recently, 8 mos ago, my GYN operated on me. She demanded I go to a COLON Doctor after I came out of surgery. No, I have not gone and I know I should. I wonder if this could be COLON related?

My question is if anyone has sacriolitis what are YOU doing about it. Is this something that we will have for the rest of our lives. I am so tired of not getting answers.

I just want to be pain free again. Also, I am under 45!
Scares me to think what it will be like this when I am older.

Please help if you can. Any comments would be appreciated. It seems people are very empathetic and know what they are speaking about on these forums.

I just found out from a colleague at work that she has all the same symptoms and it is colon related! She is having a colon test done next week. So if you have troube with the colon area let me hear from you.

Grace,

Were you trying to comment on my email? It did not come through. My question popped up again within your mail and not your thoughts. I am new to this also. I too am trying to learn how to respond to a quote.

I thank you in advance if you try to answer my question again.

I also have been diagnosed with Sacriolitis. It is very painful and is exactly as you described...a sharp stabbing pain. At first it was the most painful thing I had felt. It has been about 8 months now. I still have constant pain, but not as excrutiating as it was the first few weeks. I have tried injections, physical therapy and Chiro all for nothing. I am going to try a second injection since I have heard the effectiveness may increase with a second shot. I basically have been told that I will need to deal with this for the rest of my life. I also am under 40. Basically I cope with Ice packs and muscle relaxers. I also use Lidocain patches that seem to give me with most releif without making my feeling loopy since it is absorbed into the skin in the area of pain. THey do not penitrate deep enough, but give me enough releif to function. Good Luck!! Let me know if you find something better.
