Hello........

I'am addictited to snorting ritalin... I got prescribed to it last year, I started abusing my meds about 5 months ago... I want to stop, but it's so hard. I don't want to tell my mom or dad, they would be so hurt. I don't want to tell a doctor, I don't want anyone knowing. My nose is acting up lately, I have increased mucous, it's very green, sticky, and it's like thick. I don't know why I ever started doing this.

I'am on 6 pills a day (60mg) and I snort them all... I'am so lost, I don't know how to stop... What should I do? How can I quit... please, help me out.

You need to get in touch with a crisis centre.Look in the yellow pages for crisis centres.Ritilan is a killer on the liver, you need to be careful with this stuff.Go make that call now.....Dave

Yeah, I'm worse than you. How old are you? teen-ager I'm guessing. At least you didn't do more than the six prescribed daily. I was prescribed 120 mgs of Ritalin Long Lasting. I'm guessing there the same. It took me more work to crush it up though. It comes in those tiny balls in a water soluble tablet. You could sniff the little balls. But its better to break the time release. But anyway, I would do more than I was supposed to and a couple times I went out and bought crystal when I ran out. I didn't even know where to get crystal. So anyway, I just had my dr. cancel the scrip. I am enjoying the last bottle now -- on day four without sleep. So I'm looking for another drug. Sick of being a tweaker. So, hey man good luck.

Oh yeah, so this was four months ago. Well... Update us. And to pavement... I didn't know that about the liver. It did feel like my stomach kind of hurts. And wouldn't you know it, I drink on top of it. Well, I will get sleep today for sure. I think I'll start seeing things pretty soon
