My grandson is presently taking Ritalin In the morning, he gets them at school. Well he was late for school today so he didn't get his Ritalin until 10:00 a.m. then the teacher gave him another one at 12:00 noon Isn't this too close together? What could this cause him to do? I'm not sure of the dosage but he weighs about 150 lbs.

It would depend on how the medication was normally prescribed to be taken, at what dose, at what time, etc. You have not provided enough information to answer the question you are asking.
