Default Is Risperdal a good substitute for Abilify?

My Abilify is really bothering me. I am on 5mg at bedtime and I'm getting about 3 hours sleep a night, I'm tired all the time, and my appetite has gone nonexistent. Is Risperdal a good substitute for Abilify. Or if not, what would be a good example of one I could suggest when I talk to my doctor on Thursday?

Hi ihcuids

My son is bi-polar and he has taken both of those meds for that reason and has told me they both worked good. I dont know for what reason you were given the Abilify...

Have a good night
