what is the drug of choice for the treatment of diarrhea caused by flagyl?

If the diarrhea is severe, it is best to see your doctor.

I know this response is late for your problem, but anytime you get diarrhea from an antibiotic, try eating yogurt a couple of times a day while you are on it, that will help replace some of the good bacteria that got eliminated from the rx.
