Default Questions about Effexor

I recently been thinking about taking a low dose of Effexor for about a year. I have long term depression, panic, social, and generalized anxiety, OCD, and possible type-3 ADD. Does anybody know if Effexor is effective in treating these conditions? And also is Effexor withdrawal worse than withdrawal from benzodiazepines?

Thanks

Hi There, I have been taking Effexor successfully for a few years now. I did feel really well and decided to wean myself off the drug. It is very hard to get off and it takes a while to slowley wean your system off it. I am currently using it for depression with sycosis and have found it to be the perfect drug. I am considering another baby and I am trying to find out if it will be safe to do so while pregant. Effexor makes me feel so good that I want to stay in that state of mind throughout my pregnancy so I am hoping there is some level of safety with this drug allthough no drugs is a better option for the baby but not for me.

Hope this helps.
