Question about Klonopin (Clonazepam)

I just started taking Klonopin because I'm comming off the fentenayl patch and I wanted to know is if the Klonopin will help with the withdrawls that come with ending a narcotic. I was on the fent patch for like 2 years do to a genetic disease that caused great pain..if anyone has any info on the drug. I would be greatful.
