Default Propoxyphene VS. Codeine

What is propoxyphene? How does it compare to codeine, hydrocodone, and oxycodone? I am curious because I have been prescribed Propoxypehen 100 - 650 for my acl surgery and it seems to have an awful lot of aceteminophen per pill.

The tylenol is the real painkiller here.propoxyphene will make you a bit sedated so the tylenol works better.Propoxyphene is a useless painkiller and should be off the market. It isn't even available here in Canada anymore.....Dave
