I hope someone can help me with this. A good friend is taking subutex
(18mg.) I think. She just found out she is about 4 weeks pregnant. There isn't much info on pregnancy and sub. Does anyone know of a site or have any info on the subject. Any replies are much appreciated .

Ok well I just took a look at the prescription sheet for my subutex(I had subutex before being put on suboxone) This is what it says about pregnancy.Oh yeah it in the caution list<AND in CAPS:

For women-If you plan on becoming pregnant,disuss with your Dr. the benifits,and risks of using this medicine durring pregnancy.This medicine is excreted in breast milk.Do NOT breast-feed while taking this medicine.

I'd say that she should really give her Sub. Dr. a call A.S.A.P. and fill him/her in on this. Im sure that the receptionist at the office will put the Dr. on the phone if its something that important...Good luck,and let us know what happens with what her Dr. says....
