?pregabalin for shingles like pain??

Can anyone help? My father has been suffering with v bad haed aches and has been told it is related to the shingles that he has suffered with in the passed. However this pain is alot worse. He has been taking some pretty hefty pain killers but they don't always do the job. I have recently been told that PREGABALIN can be used for such neurological pains as this, but i am unable to find any reserch on it in this area (for shingles).If anyone can help please E-mail me on davis78uk@yahoo.co.uk .Thank you
