Default Prednisone overdose

My wife had Serotonin Syndrome which made here slighty loopy and ended up taking an overdose of Prednisone. Has any one had any experience with Prednisone if taking too much in one go. She has been on Prednisone for about 6 years and ranged from 10- 30mg a day. The Serotonin Syndrome made her have an anxiety attack and ended up taking 2,000mg.
She was in hospital for 3 days but has been released now with a clean bill of health but has been put back on the same medication that caused this in the first place.
What are the side effects of taking to many Prednisone in one go.

Im sorry that I cant answer this question very well, but I can tell you that Prednisone is very hard on the internal organs(especially the liver) So I would imagine that an overdose would speed up damage to the organs...
