pharmaceutical costs on the street my g/f is beginning work on her thesis for economics program. she's focusing primarily on the costs of treating drug addiction for state and federal.
she's also doing a comparison of prescription drug costs for individuals with insurance, without insurance, and purchases on the black market.
can anyone recommend some good sources for costs like these. specifically, prescription drugs being sold on the street. what are the average costs of things like valium, xanax, ativan, ambien, sleeping pills, klonopin.
i have some experience in the past with opiate meds on the street, but additional info on street costs for percaset, morphine, oxycontin, vicodin, even demerol would be very helpful.
thanks. -
If you haven't already, check out erowid.org they are a great resourse for info on all recreational drugs, with a whole section dedicated to pharms. It's not comprehensive, but it's a good place to start and they have a lot of links. You may also run into problems because prices can vary greatly from region to region based on availiability, demand and local economic factors. hope this is of use to you.

thanks for the response. I'll limit my inquiry then to the following:
Anyone know the standard street cost in Los Angeles city area for:
Oxycontin
Percaset
Vicodin
Valium
Xanax
Morphine
Demerol
Ativan
Ambien
Temazepam
Klonopin
I guess per mg cost would be simplest, but any example would help. Thanks.
Also any experience with street value for liquids or inj. wou -
