Paxil, Xanax & Vicodin OH MY! Here's the background: I take Paxil (30mg/day) and Xanax (.5mg/day) for depression/anxiety problems. I also take Vicodin ES (750/7.5mg 1 to 2 times/day) for chronic knee and back pain.
Here's the question: I've noticed that in the evening or when particularly tired that I become very easily agitated and if pushed to far, almost an uncontrollable rage situation. Maybe not uncontrollable, just a lack of concern for the outcome of anger. I'm trying to make this make sense. Is there any link between any of this and a short fuse?!

If you're doseage is spred though out the day,and you're not "fiending" for more of something then I'd say no this combo should'nt be your problem(because you should be relaxed, not mad)...Plus you're on a small dose of all this stuff...It seems to have more to do with your personality to me...Maybe you should talk to your Dr. about bringing up your Xanax dose that could help chill you out.... -

I'm not normally a short fused individual, that's what is confusing me. More often then not, I'm quite unshakable. I don't know, I'm at a loss here. Maybe I've been on the .5mg dose too long. You got me. -

Yeah i honestly think that you need more xanax..... -
Oh My! Sometimes these drugs we're taking will definitely make you cranky, fly off the handle, short fuse whatever. I think it has to do with an over tasked CNS. Some people, like myself, are more sensitive than others. T
