I have been on paxil 40 mg since may and as of two weeks ago I'm paxil free! I have been suffering quite a bit of withdrawal but I had a question on paxil and alcohol.
I'm a college student and i do drink on the weekends every so often when I was taking paxil. I actually had one drink last weekend (to see how it would go finally being paxil) and I was definately feeling it after one drink. But last summer and earlier last spring while I was on paxil, I was definately drinking like 7 - 8 drinks and I was fine! No sickness or anything. I thought Paxil increased the drowsiness effect but it seems that I was the opposite. Am i just weird case or something? It worries me because I wonder if I have like damaged my liver drinking that much along with the paxil being put through my liver b/c somehow paxil prevented me from getting sick or something. It's like I didn't know when to stop because there was no stopping point if I was fine! If I drank that much off paxil, I'd probably be throwing up and all but man I wasn't sick one bit. Has anyone else experienced this????
I would ask a doctor, but then again they probably wouldn't know... hmmm
