Default Panlor / dihydrocodeine

Hello[:X]
I have recently been prescribed the drug Panlor SS (712.8 mg acetaminophen, 60 mg caffeine, 32 mg dihydrocodeine) for pain from tmj disorder and tension headaches. I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who is taking or has taken this drug before? Also, I have seen on the web that dihydrocodeine is stronger than codeine and I've seen that it is weaker, and was just wondering which one is true.
I also want to say to anyone who is hooked on painkillers that Panlor is excellent for coming off of them. I was on Oxycontin 20 mg and Lortab 7.5 for over 3 months. I tried to stop taking them cold turkey, and had horrible withdrawal symptoms from the Oxycontin. My doctor put me on Methadone[:0], which made me feel like a pill junkie and also did not help in weaning me off the narcotics, but just made everything worse. I tried coming off of the methadone using just Lortabs, but still got withdrawal symptoms if I tried to stop taking those. Now my doc has prescribed Panlor SS. I have found that this drug, though weaker than Lortab and Oxycontin, is still very effective for my pain and THE BEST PART IS! I can take it when I need it, and when I don't, I will not have withdrawal symptoms. However, before my doc prescribed it, I had never heard of it before, so that's why I'm wondering if anyone else has taken it.
Great forum! Thanks!
