I have a low-functioning DD/MR client with a brain tumor and only 1/2 of a functioning kidney. The Doc won't prescribe Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain as they're cleared by kidneys. She has, however, prescribed Ativan. I'm OK with that, but short of trying to think of every pain med on the planet, does anyone off the top of their head know of a pain med that isn't cleared by the kidneys?
