what is the exqivalence of these two drugs (Oxycontin and ms contin)? how much stronger is ms contin than oxycontin? for say, if one 15mg ms contin was swallow how much oxycontin would it take to give the same releif?
Oxycontin is Oxycodone and ms contin is morphine sulfate. Oxycodone is stronger taken orally then what morphine is. I would say 5-10 mg oxycodone would be equivelent to 15 mg of morphine, if not stronger.
Oxycondone doesn't last as long as morphine does, so that is a factor too.
