Default Opiod Pain Relief

I injured my back a several years ago and had "just dealt with" the associated pain for many years. Finally I was referred to pain mgmt. After trying everything I knew of, the doc put me on oxycodone.OMG my pain was more tollerable than it had been in a long time. Unfortunately my pain tollerence is diminishing, also my pain control is diminishing. Opiods have by far been the most effective, but with my hereditary fibromyalgia beginning to become more prevelant, I find myself with a dilema. Any advice on the best course of action?
