Default Norvasc

I have been taking Norvasc for six months. My legs, ankles and feet have been swollen for six months. I have repeatedly told my dr. but she says not to worry. It is uncomfortable to bend my ankles and my toes swell together. Does anyone know if this is a bad thing?

Swelling of the legs and ankles is listed as one of the serious side effects of taking Norvasc. You can find information on this drug at the following url: http://www.drugs.com/mtm/n/norvasc.html

Scroll down to the section describing the possible side effects of Amlodipine (which is the generic name for Norvasc) and read them, then inform your doctor.

Hi, I refused to take Norvasc because I already swell. I don't think the doctors realize how horrible it is. What are you taking it for? Maybe try another doc?

Here's my new method when a doc doesn't want to listen to me, print it out, and shove it in front of your docs face next time you go in.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~
