i have been on norco or vicodin some 8 years, and it is only thing that works for me...oxycontin nearly killed me, so happy to stick with what works...but about 30 days ago i started noticing a ringing in my ears, and it NEVER goes away..i read that hearing loss is a potential but less likely side effect; so far there is no hearing loss but the constant noise is driving me crazy--especially at bedtime...please anyone comment about this, along with possible relief...

I have been on Norco's for over two years and haven't had any issues like that. Just like you, I have heard that hearing loss can be a possible side effect to taking narcotics long term.

I am at a complete loss concerning a remedy but I would suggest asking your doctor about this issue. It may be a sign of something a lot worse.
