Default NIKI

I SUFFER FROM BAD HEADACHES SO I TOOK AN OXYCODON LAST NIGHT ABOUT 6PM WILL THIS AFFECT MY DRUG TEST THIS MORNING AND 9:30PM

IMO yes it will... was it a prescription for you? If so you may be able to show it was prescribed.... If not then you might be screwed???

It depends on what kind of drug test it is. The NIDA 5 stanard urine test only tests for morphine, which is a metabolite of heroin and codeine, but not oxycodone (which I believe is derived from Thebaine). If it is a NIDA 5 (which is most common for job applicants) there should not be a problem. However, if it is an extended drug test, it will almost certainly show up, as oxy has been a popular drug of abuse w/ a lot of media attention, and if you don't have a scrip for it, there will be little recourse, as I am unaware of any non-narcotic substances that would cause a false + for oxy.
