Default "New" Nardil

I was taking Nardil for several years which was a miracle drug.It was discontinued a few years ago and I switched to Parnate which was not as effective. Nardil had apparently been taken off the market because it was not a profitable drug. My doctor now tells me that it is back on the market and I can go back on it if I want. However, I have been reading several postings on various online forums that the new version of Nardil is not as effective as the previous one and is causing people to suffer terrible symptoms. The postings claim that the Nardil is now being made more cheaply in France with low-grade technology which is why they claim it is not as good as before. Does anyone have any knowledge of the "new" Nardil vs. the old one? Is there a pharmacist or medical professional reading this who has heard these complaints? I wouldn't ask my doctor because if he has heard about this, he wouldn't be recommending it for me. Most pharmacists don't know a lot about Nardil because it isn't used that much. Please help. Thanks.
