What type of side effects can occur from stopping neurontin quickly. Can it cause nausea, loss of appetite and general weakness.

Since they don't 100% know how Neurontin works, there is a large list of general side effects that come along with it. Unfortunately, those you listed can be seen in starting the medication so it is very possible that stopping the medication will have the same effects. The best way to stop the med is to taper off of it slowly, over a period of several weeks. I hope this isn't too late of a response! Good luck!
