My father was recently placed in the hospital with pancreatitis. I have been researching all I can on it and after what I have read the medication he was taking caused it according to a doctor the hospital brought in and what I have backs him up.

I was wondering for those medical gurus out their if you see any other possible side effects or problems he might be having as I do not trust his doctor and as of today I will be finding a new one. However it will ease my mind if anyone has any information on the following meds.

Lisinopril 40mg
Prazosin HCL 2mg
Simvastatin 40mg
Omeprazole 20mg
Mirtazapine 30mg
Alprazolam .25mg
Valproic Acid 250mg
Glipizide 5mg
Quetiapine Fumarate 100mg
Levothyroxine Na Synthroid .05mg
Atenolol 50mg



The Valproic Acid is what gave him the Panceatitius and wondering about the others. He is type II diabetes however he will now be on insulin full time and has severe PTSD
