Default Need new antidepressant Have CFIDS/ME

Which antidepressants are most dangerous for people with CFS aka myalgic encephalomyelitis (not just fibromyalgia)?

The SSRIs have worked in the passed but there are new ones on the market. Any one with experience with Lexapro?

Many thanks,

Cass

Lexapro and Celexa are very similar SSRI's the way my Dr put it, it's like one works on left side and one works on right side of same cell. I have taken celexa in varied doses for the last 4 years, initial symptoms were severe body aches, iritibility, shakiness, speed-like high- these symptoms went away after about 14 days. I tried lexapro and had the same effects with slightly less irritability.

hope i helped.
(SSRI= selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor- meaning u have more seratonin running around in your brain, a sign that you have too much seratonin is aggression.)
