You are getting headaches because of withdrawal. Although the headache comes quickly it is just withdrawal. Well, that is what my doctor told me anyways.

I was told by a Dentist that Vicodin causes pressure in the head and if you lay down after taking the meds, elevate your head to help from getting a headache. After you take meds, lay down or be still for a while and that will hopefully make upset stomach stop until meds are absorbed. Do you get dizzy too when moving around? Just curiuos.
