Default Which motion sickness medicine is best?

Does anybody know what the difference is between Dimenhydrinate found in Dramamine original vs. Meclizine Hydrochloride found in Bonine and Dramamine Less Drowsy Formula? Is one medicine better than the other? Thanks.

    Both cause drowsiness.

If you are worried about side effects, have you thought of going non-drug? Those Sea Bands Accupressure Bands are supposed to be amazing. My mom did some ocean sailing for five days last month and wore the bands on the pressure point on her wrists knowing she would be the first to go if the weather got rough. It did, and everyone on the boat got sick except her. No side effects whatsoever.

Ginger is also good for motion sickness. I eat about five small ginger snaps and i no longer suffer with motion sickness.

I have been using Vistaril (hydroxyzien) for my motion sickness and nausea for a long time and I think it works great.
