Smile Moderate interaction

I just looked up the two prescribed drugs I am on xanax and lexapro and it shows a warning saying moderate interaction-just what does that mean? Thanks.

It means there is enough possibility for interaction that you shouldn't be taking those meds without your dr knowing about it. That's a given.

It doesn't mean anything is going to happen to you if you take them together, it just means that there is enough possibility that something COULD happen that they have to tell you so. But you do need to be careful with that kind of interaction potential.

Hope that helps. God bless.
