My Doctor prescribes me Hydro (10mg) and I take 2 morning and night. 40mg daily. I take them 6 hours apart. For the past year.

I am also prescribed Xanax. 1MG twice a day.

I have not taken the Xanax in the past month though.

However, lately at night I need a Xanax.

Is it safe to take the two together since I don't have a tolerance for Xanax anymore?

I usually take 20mg of hydro around 10PM then need the Xanax around 1AM.

As long as you take the prescribed dose you should be fine.I would take the xanax alot earlier if you can.Good luck.....Dave
