Default mixing fetanyl patch with percocet..

Is this an incredibly high risk??

Percocet is often prescribe for breakthrough pain for people on the fentanyl patch.If your just starting the patch then be careful as it can take a few days to get your serum level up were you have a constant flow of fentanyl.As long as your taking correct amounts of percocet no more than 3 hours apart then you should be ok.The whole point to going on to a system like the duragesic patch is to get away from short acting opiates like percocet as they aren't very effective for chronic pain and they cause liver damage after years of use(I should say can cause liver damage)......Dave
