methotrexate side effects

My son has been taking methotrexate 20MG per week because he is suffering from psoriasic arthritis
Recently he had 5.2 of cholerythrine and after stopping methotrexate it fell to 3.6 His eyes are yellow like in jaudice I am very worried Is this a side effect of methotrexate?
