I am used to taking 10 10mg hydrocodone tablets to feel an effect...about how many 40mg methadone wafers would be necessary to feel about the same effect?...thanks for any input...

Just wanted to mention:
Hydrocodone tablets like vicodin, lortab and Norco's all contain varying amounts of APAP (Tylenol), and unless these pills are specially compounded to have little to no APAP, taking 10 of any of them is a lot of APAP for your liver to handle. This danger is compounded if you drink alcohol or other things that are hard on your liver. If you have been doing this for some time I would suggest a cold water extraction to remove most of the APAP. Many people don't realize that large amounts of APAP are much harder on your body than large doses of the opiates (if you have a tolorance). Just wanted to let you know...not trying to be nosey.
