Dear Sir:
You asked about
methadone. First, I would like to suggest that you do not use it recreationally. Methadone is different than any of the other opiates.
Haven't you read how many people are dying from it and even most of the physicians have no idea of how to prescribe it. People are dying every day from it.
They think it is like
Oxycontin,Percocet and
Morphine but it is much stronger than any of these and it has a half -life of 24 -60 hours. People are buying off the street and mixing it wwith benzodiazepines and/or alcohol and may other medications and it is killing them like flies.
I am a Pharmacist and I have a website on Methadone and
Suboxone that I work on also. Check it out?

I started taking Methadone in December 1992 and I am still on it. I had serious pain issues and became addicted to Dilaudid. I could inject a 30cc vial of Dilaudid in one day but when I started on Methadone -they started me on 30mg and I almost did not make it Home. It does not cause euphoria whether you or an addict or not. If you are not opiate-tolerant. . . then it will more than likely kill you. It is only for people who are opiate tolerant. It is not a drug to be taken recreationally because the withdrawals from it are worse than from any other opiate.
As told you I* had a high tolerance and 30mg was alomost too much for me.
It basically numbs you but it is great for pain and it is also great for stopping the cravings that accompany drug addiction. It also keeps the withdrawal
symptoms away so that the person is able to work and get his life back together. The dose is different for each individual. Sir, I assure if you are thinking about using it recreationally then you are heading for serious trouble especially if you are not opiate-tolerant. It will not give you or no one euphoria, possibly if you mix it with another drug you may experience some and then youmay end up dead too.
No person should take it if they are not opiate tolerant because it will probably kill them. if you are opiate -tolerant then you should only take it under a Doctor's supervision and they usually start you off on 30mg. I am taking 280mg now but I have been on it since 1993. I would advise all of you who aren't under a Doctor's Supervision to stay away from it.
