Default MC contin vs. morphine sulfate

what is the difference

You mean MS Contin, the MS stands for morphine sulfate, contin for continous, it is a time release pill. Morphine sulfate is immediate release (sometimes called MSIR).
Kadian, Avinza, MS Contin and Oramorph are all controlled release.
