Default mandelamine - EFFECTIVENESS

I am speaking as having been a quadriplegic with indwelling supra-pubic cathter for 34 years. Mandelamine has proven to be fairly effective up until recently for minor flair-ups of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI). It now seems less effective; probably because the bugs I have had over time have become less sensitive to mandelamine. But it has been useful in my attempt to stay healthy and active and avoid serious complications from UTI's. I still us it to keep UTI's under control until I can get a prescription for an actual antibiotic like Cipro.

I would recommend it to others who have an indwelling catheter. But be sure to drink plenty of water. I drink nearly one gallon per day.
