I am starting Lupron injections tomorrow and I would like to know if this has helped anyone else with endo

I underwent Lupron injection therapy during the summer of 2003. I didn't have endo, never did, I had some uterine tumors removed & they started growing back almost immediately. The Lupron was used as a tumor suppressive therapy. I know people who have had wonderful results with this med & others who went thru hell. I went thru hell. I don't want to scare you but just make sure you get ALL the info you can before taking this step. I am still trying to recover from the side effects of Lupron but then again I have had trouble in the past with hormones. I tried to take the pill once & was told by my doc at the time that I am one of those people who just can't tolerate having hormones introduced into my body. I wish you luck with your efforts to beat endo. Even tho I've been so fortunate as to never have had it or any other reproductive problems (until last year) I have had a few friends who suffered with endo & I know how difficult it can be. Just remember to stay up to date on all info about this or any other drug they try you on. There are 25 to 30 pages of info on Lupron in the PDR. It is a complicated drug. Again, I wish you the best of luck in your recovery.
