Question Loritab Withdrawl

I started taking loritabs about three months ago, I've been taking them everyday since then. For the first month I was taking 3-5 everyday but for the past two months I've been taking 6-10 a day. They're 10 mg each and I stopped taking them almost three days ago. I've stopped being able to sleep. I've slept a total of about 12 hours for the past three days but it hasn't been a consistent sleep just off and on. I wake up exhausted and feeling like a complete zombie all day. I keep getting hot/cold flashes, I can't urinate at all, anything I eat or drink doesn't sit at all, I have horrible diarrhea, I sweat off and on, I toss and turn, my whole body aches, I feel weak and drained but my mind isn't tired at all, just my body. I've never been through any type of withdrawl before so I was just looking for some advice on what to do and how to go about this. Any type of information will be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

Hi breGBish
Oh my friend, I have been there, this is just a good old case of w/d
Get yourself some imodium. take a lot of hot baths...kick back and watch some movies and let some time pass, you will start feeling better in the next couple days you have pretty much been thru the hardest part...
there are some over the counter sleep aids Excedrin pm, melatonin, sleepy time tea...
get on here and do a little more posting and read the stories of people that have made it...
It helps to know your not the only one out there...and as soon as you are able try to do some exercise it will help getting your endorphins working...and it will help get some energy back. I started out at 2 minutes a day on the treadmill and worked my way up...
Keep us posted on how you are doing even if you just want to yell and screem...we all understand and want to help
Talk to you soon, Melinda

End of day three. Beginning of day four. I just got back from the Saratoga County Fair with my niece and girlfriend. I'm doing a lot better. Now I just have to wait until I'm able to sleep how I normally would instead of sleeping off and on all night and tossing and turning. Thank you for your advice, it helped so much.
