lorazepam, what does it do?

just been put on lorazepam for anxiety. does it give you a buzz? is it like valium? need a little help. thanks flappo

Hi Flappo, Ativan is a little stronger mg/mg then diazepam and has a shorter half life, the effects are very similar.
A word of advise, don't take it to get high on, and never take more then you're prescribed, if you take extra you will always need more, tolerance works faster with benzo's then any other drug that I'm aware of.

glad you are still around. just wanted to know about lorazepam. never took it before but i have taken valiums. guess the doc wanted to see if it works. nut doctors try a lot of things. thank you again.
