I took prednisone for 7 months and ever since I stopped it by body feels "off". I have no sex drive (I'm usually horny 24/7) and I cry very easily, which is also unusual for me. Has anyone had this experience? Can long-term Prednisone throw off hormone levels in a pre-menopausal woman? Am I experiencing a sort of semi-menopause?

I took prednisone for 3 weeks in massive doses. It is now over 4 months since and I feel deprerssed, tired, mentally confussed, angry, and many other conditions. I have been anable to work for months and belive that doctors have no idea what this drug can do to the human body. Also it seems the conditions I mentioned are normal for peoople who I have spoken with who have taken this drug. I would advise anyone to find alternatives to this drug.
