Default Long term effects of Brethine to baby

I would like to know where to find out if Brethine can or may possibly be able to pass through the blood to an unborn baby. If so, what might the long term effect be on the child, if any.

I was on Breathine from 24 weeks to 36 weeks. All the doctors that I spoke to said there was little to no long term effects on the baby. It made me incredibly jittery and I felt miserable. BUT it was all worth it because I had a healthy boy at 37 weeks(they had to induce-go figure). My husband had also done a lot of research and all his info came up with that the benefits outweighed having a baby at 24 weeks. I am happy to report that my son is 3 years old and is a normal child in every way(a little active-but normal). I wish you the best of luck. I know this is a very hard time but do what your doctors tell you-no matter how hard it is to stay on a couch for 13 weeks.
