Mp29,
You might need to have your lithium levels checked. How long have you been taking it? Also, there are a lot of foods and things that can't alter your lithium effects...pay close attention to those (increases lithium effects or toxicity-nettle, parsley, and dandelion; decreases lithium effects-coffee, black tea, green tea, COLA). Sodium can also wreak havoc on litium. You probably should just make it a point to inform your doctor of the way it's making you feel, especially if you just started taking it. Good luck. l |
