Cool Lisinopril/Hydrochlorothiazide (HCT)

Hi Ya'all,

Can anybody tell me whether it is safe to stop taking Lisinopril/Hydrochlorothiazide immediately?

One doctor told me I would need to take high blood presure meds for the rest of my life, one I started, and another doctor told me my blood presure is at a very good level and to stop now.

I'm confused, and before I stop abruptly, I am posting this message to find out what others have been told or have done successfully.

Thanks ya'all kind gentlemen and ladies for responding back.

Jelly Bean (just call me JB for short)

its ok to stop them all together if you are on low dose , like 10/12.5.
you can just stop them and watch your blood pressure.
if you are on higher doses like 40/25, you may wanna half them for a while. and watch your pressure over couple weeks.
