I was wondering if anyone has taken these 3 at one time. My son is in a social anxiety depression. He just started taking the Lexapro but I'm concerned about the combination of these 3. Dr. just says no problem but when I check out this combo, it seems to be a strain on the central nervous system. Would appreciate an answer. Seems the ABilify has got to go. Any experience with this?

Ive never taken all three but I have been on Lamictal and Lexapro at the same time. The only thing I can tell you is I had horrible depression episodes. I was very suicidal. I dont believe it had anything to do with actually mixing them or the lexapro at all. I believe it was the Lamictal all on its own that did it to me. Im not even bi-polar so why they even gave me Lamictal is a mystery. So if your son is dealing with anxiety and depression, Lamictal is probably not the best choice. In my opinion at least.

lamictal even it is cold an mood stabileizer it is FDA aprooved for depresion i was on it for 4 years its a wanderfull madication

im on a cocktail to these 3 meds, 5mg Lexapro, 1mg ABilify, and 50mg of Lamictal.... works great for me. i take abilify and lamictal in the morning and laxepro at nite. i was diagnosted with PTD. my Dr's plan is to eventually stop taking laxepro bc i have been on lexapro alone for more than 3 years.... (about a year ago i was on 60mg of lexapro but that much dosage wasnt good for me bc i was numb) however, i really like this new combo bc it makes me feel normal -yeah, normal....
you need to give it sometime for it to work thou.... it took me more than 1 month to notice the chnages....
