Levaquin and Methadone I developed severe pain in the maxillary region ( under eye beside nose on left side of face) the other day as well as sever pain above my teeth on the left side of my face. Pain was extremly severe I mean really bad. Today I realized I have a sinus infection (bacterial) due to the fact green mucous was present upon awakening this morning. I wasnt sure it wasnt viral until this morning therefore I didnt go to the Dr. I have a full scrip of Levaquin that I did not take previously for an infection. I was wondering if Levaquin and Methadone is safe to take together although i would not take them at the same time.IF I have methadone left in my system can I still take the Levaquin? I researched this pretty extensivly on the web and am not satisfied with the information I found. Since it is the weekend I cannot go to my Dr. not really fond of going anyway unless i have no other choice. Could I just NOT take the methadone for a few days while I take the levaquin? It is ok to have methdone st5ill in my sytem when taking the levaquin? Any information provided by a health care provider or pharmacist would be greatly appreciated. How common is Tesade de Pointes TdP when combining these two medications? If anyone can provide any info I sure would appreciate it as I still have some pretty bad pain although it diminished over today somewhat. Thanks again! |
